I have the best family and friends in the entire world… They are there to love me and let me love them in return. Saturday, October 25th marks the 58th Anniversary of my birth and that is a terrific feeling! My folks were young, 19 and 20 when I showed up (2 weeks before their first anniversary) and I am sure it was bedlam for a while. All in all they must have been okay with the experience as they decided to give me a brother and a sister over the next four years, and we became a family!
Mom joins in the celebration in spirit, the siblings and I share a beautiful home together just outside of Detroit, MI and my father chimes in from Cedar, MI (that’s just outside of Traverse City, MI for those who know the Wolverine State). I am blessed to have many cousins and friends who shower me with love as well.
So I post this today with gratitude for my life, as that it has been, everything that it is and what it has yet to become. 58 years? Well that’s a good start and I am excited to see what the next 58 brings! Thank you to my parents who brought me to this earth, I can only hope I have grown into a woman you can be proud of!
