The understanding of fear, all too well can muddle the acceptance of love’s hypnotic spell. The walls built in defense of pain were created out of love all the same. So the love that set out to shelter and protect is the same used for fear’s lies to detect. And then the resistance to open and feel becomes the reality of being afraid to be present and real. Perhaps there is hope that in spite of fear’s logic the hungry heart will feed instead on love’s magic.
