When someone says something unkind about you it is not about you it’s about them, so there is never any need to reply. Since it is what is in your heart, not in their words with which you identify!

    Sometimes, that is really hard to do. Most days, I smile and nod and then shrug it off.

      I always took it personally… then I realized that by taking it, I had to wear it… Once I decided that I no longer needed to validate everyone else’s thoughts, feelings and comments, I began to get back to ME!
