You’re walking away

Giving power to your life

Because you have to

Keep it about you

Leave another out of it

Own your decisions

When you lay down blame

Pointing fingers all around

Drains you of power

You may have been pushed

To leave that life behind you

You have to agree

At some point you wished

For your life to honor you

Sometimes things will change
