Delighted to see you had a similar idea in mind with the prompt. Mine only looked at the grub eating away the tree, your’s transformed into a butterfly. This must say something about our minds I think! 🙂 Lovely stuff.
Nearly 50 years ago, my father interviewed for a course at a local broadcasting school. He wanted to become a radio personality and move us all to Australia, where he said we would have a sheep farm and he would do his radio shows from our home. It did not come to pass, but could you imagine if we were both on the same continent with all this poetic energy? It appears that we were meant to divide and conquer. I am good with that, although I have always felt I was meant to be an Aussie…
The strange “what ifs?” of our pasts! My father was a “10 pound Pom” who came to Australia for a new life which of course led to me being here typing merrily away in our remote corner of the globe today. You can certainly be an honorary Aussie (assuming you like beaches, beer and bathing).
That’s a beautiful one!
