Ronovan Writes Poetry on Tell Me a Story

Friday, April 29th, 1:30-2pm EDT ~ Could YOU make a choice between tacos and history? What about fresh fruit or writing? Let’s ask author, Ronovan Hester, my guest today on Tell Me a Story. Okay, so I’d rather talk to him about the topic of this month’s programs, National poetry Month. Of course we know him from his incredibly popular Weekly Writing Challenges (Haiku and Fiction) hosted on his blog as well as from one of his crowning achievements to date, the publishing of his first novel!  Amber Wake: Gabriel Falling (co-authored with P.S. Bartlett) which recently received a 5-Star Review from (wtg you two). What you might NOT know, is that Ron is hard at work compiling a soon be released, book of poetry titled: My Loves.  (I wonder how many odes to tacos are in it). So, tune into the show today and let’s hear all about Ronovan Writes Poetry, today on The Magic Happens Radio Network.

  2. Just listened to the show. It’s great to hear the voice of “The Master of Blogging’ as well as one of the best poet’s and writers here on WordPress. Loved hearing Ron reading ‘Snack Attack’ and the two of you sounded like the best of friends having the time of your lives.
I don’t write Poetry, but then Ron persuaded me to write a haiku. I think he was just as amazed as I was that I had written it 😀 I need to try a few more.
Thanks, Annette, for a very enjoyable show, and thanks Ron for the great interview. Both of you – please don’t leave it another year.

    • Oh Hugh, you are so sweet. Happy you were able to listen and that you enjoyed the show. You know, Ron will always be my “country cousin” he is so subtle at pushing my buttons but then again, Granny always liked him best… He has suggested we do a show together, perhaps we will do that. Keep writing that poetry, we’ll keep reading. Oh and by the way, keep writing your fantastic short stories, I am fan, what am a fan! 🙂

  3. Apologies I could not listen in live on Friday, Annette. Having moved house (again) on Monday, the week has been chaos. However, I should be back on WordPress in my normal routine from tomorrow.
I think a show of you two together is a wonderful idea. You certainly had me listening in as if I was sat on the table next to you two in a coffee shop. It was a wonderful show and both of you sparkled off each other. A great team in the making I’d say. 👍
