Oh, the imagery… Dude, you have given me a Monday smile. 🙂
Everyone needs a Monday smile! 🙂
The perfect recital Haiku!
Thank you so much. It reminds me of when my sister took tap… She was adorable!
Fabulous, Annette. Little girl dreams.
Aw, thank you so much! ❤
So cute,!!I hear little feet:)
shuffle, hop, step, flap, ball change 🙂
I LOVE your take on this Annette! 🙂
Thanks Judy! I just love watching kiddie dance recitals, they are so genuine.
Yes, they are and they get so into it too 🙂
This sounds delightful 🙂
Thank you. It makes me want to go watch little kids dance, eh?
So sweet. I can imagine a little boy in his tap shoes and a little girl with her tutu, tights and ballet slippers on waiting for mommy to take them to their classes. I love it. ❤ xx
Why, thank you so much. 🙂
Beautiful, Annette! I didn’t have magic tap shoes, but I remember dancing in the garden with my eyes closed, believing I was on a cloud. 🙂
Oh that is so cool. I never had the tap shoes, but my sister did and she was delightful to watch. She just glowed as she pranced about. ❤
Aw, so adorable! I love how you used the words to create a character and a world with motivation in such a short poem.
So sweet of you to say. Thank you very much! ❤

Great imaginative haiku Annette but where is the photo of you to reinforce the imagery???
Aw, thanks, Denis! I was not the dance in the family, that was my baby sister. I’ll have to ask her if she has any pics from her tapping days. That was a l-o-n-g time ago. ❤
Thank you for saying so. 🙂
