Ouch! I’ve seen girls lay out in the sun wearing gold bangles and necklaces. That’s what immediately came to mind when I read your haiku. I had never given it much thought, since I don’t wear jewelry out in the sun, but that metal has got to get scorching hot after a while. Brilliant haiku!
