  1. We buy turkey and put it in every recipe calling for chicken because my husband thinks turkey “has more flavor”. The tenderloins or a baked breast (There are just two of us) of turkey chops up nicely and slices well too. We do not buy those nasty nitrate-filled deli turkey slices for our sandwiches. We use the turkey I’ve baked. Better for you, although a little sloppy to eat…ha!
