Snow, snow everywhere
In the trees, on the sidewalks
Not a spot is bare
It used to mean fun
We’d grab the sleds and suit up
Heading for the hills
Spending many hours
Making angels and snow forts
Oh yes, snowball fights
These days, not so much
Snow just adds another chore
Eating up playtime
So, grab a shovel
There’s lots to be cleared away
Cause life must go on

You captured winter fun and the unfortunate chores. I’d rather be making snow angels. 🙂

(deep sigh) if we could tran our cats to clear off the cars with their tails, we’d have something to crow about…

We don’t have snow. But I kinda know what you mean. Christmas did use to be naturally fun. Now, we have to make an effort to make it fun…
