I saw a scene in the movie, L.A. Story with Steve Martin, where people are driving along the California coast. I should watch Shawshank Redemption again to check that one out…
LOL! Dreams are rarely like the real thing. The water on the US west coast is freezing. And often the winds are chilly. On the east coast, there are few places where you can see the ocean from the road. But the water is warm and Daytona Beach is still beautiful, even if you have to pay for parking 🙂
That sounds delightful! Back in the 80’s my husband and I used to ride our bikes around an island in Lake Erie, off the coast of Gibraltar, MIchigan. It was magical when we were able to be right along the water’s edge.
