Colleen’s Weekly #Tanka #Poetry Challenge #16 – BLOOM & LATE
What a beautiful rainbow image! Love it. Your words are so inspirational and filled with hope. Just what we need in these gray days of early winter. Love it! ❤

Thank you, MIss. Colleen! Your prompt was spot on and I enjoyed being able to share this photograph of a rainbow we saw last summer! ❤
Totally gorgeous… you know I love the symbolism behind rainbows. ❤
Without the Sun
The sky shall not Show
The colors of Rainbow
There shall be no Bloom
Saw bloom… What the heck. It’s a nice tanka. 🙂
Yes, I blatantly used that word and when checking the synonyms for late, I found a plethora of words to substitute such as: behind and by and by… At little less in the face but present nonetheless. 🙂
We can use synonyms? Who knew? (probably everyone else but me).
Thank you, Miss. Bette! ❤
The poem is filled with colour and movement Annette.
I appreciate that you see this, Denis! Thank you for letting me know. ❤
Yes, indeed! A nice one Annette:)
Thank you very much! 🙂
