  1. My parents grew up with chestnut trees, most died from a blight a few decades back. Now, there’s a blight on the orange trees that isn’t responding to attempts to be rid of it. Sad.

  7. It is terrible how suddenly these great creatures can fall. We don’t have elms in Australia but we have wonderful Jarrah trees that suffer from what we call “die back” and we have lost many of these giants.
