Love yourself enough
To be willing to believe
That you’re lovable
Because then you can
Be the one who loves you more
Than anyone else
For when this happens
You will be forever free
Of other’s control
This allows you to
Live in peace and happiness
And eternal love

If we are not loving ourselves enough, then loving others doesn’t have anything solid to stand on.

Gosh, how I love that! As long as we believe that our worth depends on other people’s love we will always be a prisoner of our search for love, not knowing that we hold it all inside! 💖

Bingo! And we hold others hostage to our demands.. it’s a vicious circle that many spend their lives running around.

Oh, yes, that’s so true too! We make them responsible for how we feel and a vicious circle indeed!

People around me always talk about finding love in others- and I wonder why they never try to find it in themselves. It’s where we all start: because only when you find love in yourself, can you recognize it in others.
Lovely piece, thanks for sharing 🙂
