Play the hand you’re dealt
Because that’s part of the game
Choose your discard well
Wear your poker face
Don’t get lost in the shuffle
And don’t lose the lead

I’ve always heard the phrase, “life is a game”, but this wonderful piece just shed a new light on that expression for me!
(currently walking past my ex-boyfriend’s house with a poker face as I’m writing this comment)
(I didn’t mean to walk by his house but I’ll play the card I’m dealt and try to not feel lost in this shuffle!)

Oh that’s funny. I shuffle strangely and once in a while, someone will ask me if I am stacking the deck… Nope, just trying to mix them up better is all.
