Colleen’s Weekly Tanka Tuesday Poetry Challenge Mystery & Attract – Lead Us

When

You were

A small child

What were your dreams

Were you encouraged

To seek them at all costs

To believe in their power

And to rejoice in the magic

Of possibilities tremendous

And so you opened your heart to receive

Good for you and good for the world at large

For it is your example that proves

We can have our heart’s desires

By nurturing tiny seeds

Placing our faith in love

All because of you

Who had some dreams

When you were

A small

Child

  5. This is so gorgeous! I couldn’t find your poem. Put the link to your poem in that box on the submission form that asks for your website. Just delete what comes up and cut and paste your address there. Thanks for working so hard on this. I’ve contacted WP to see if they will make the form titles adjustable. Hugs, Sister. ❤

  10. Your mother was like a vine
    Planted by the water,
    Fruitful and bunch was
    because of the abudant

    One strong branch she put
    as a royal septor
    Stately was her height
    amid the dense foliage,
    Notably tall was she,
    with her many clusters.
