You try

You’re ahead

Of your life’s game

Some find themselves stuck

In collecting ribbons

Building a case for trophies

Unless they fill that case, they’re bummed

However, true victory belongs

To those who see the value in trying

    Nicely done, Annette. I would go one step further and say that you have to have the courage to try and also persistence to keep trying.
