Trees
Might be
Gentle giants
We learn to love
Grounded energy
Connecting earth and sky
Home to creatures great and small
Some succumb to Mother Nature
Others stand proud for hundreds of years
Teaching us to be strong no matter what

The layout of your poem makes me think of a pine tree, well grounded.

Oh, Sis… this was so beautiful. You’ve got the heart of an angel and the strength of the mighty oak! ❤
