I
Wonder
About my
Choices sometimes
And if they serve me
Since we are all here to grow
Do my choices hold me back
So I guess only time will tell
My choice to believe that gives me hope
That my choices really do serve me well

Our choices are rarely entirely freely made, Annette. They are always influenced by other factors in our lives like our families, a need to earn a living and other things. Most of us do the best we can. Hugs.

In the end, they do serve us always. It is only the question if it happens the hard or the soft way, isn’t it?

I like your thought processes, Sis. I think Erika is right. Each decision serves us one way or another. It just depends on the lesson. Great poetic thoughts. ❤

What a insightful poem, Annette. It’s amazing how many choices we have to make each day. Some big and some not so big. Usually the big are preceded by the little choices we make. In the end we have to live with them, whether they were wise or not.
