Is it just me or did life seem a lot simpler when we were growing up?
For me, only 2 channels on tv and then only for part of the day. No computers or videos. Fewer toys. You were encouraged (strongly in my case) to play outside and often went exploring for hours. Nobody knew where you were, but they weren’t worried and you often had a great time.
I think it was definitely simpler, but I personally did get bored a lot with no siblings.

My transistor radio was my best friend more often than not… That and my books, my bike, and our swimming pool!

Nice post, almost everyone will relate. Those recipe cards are treasures—splatters and spills and all. 🙂 Thanks for the reblog!
