Now a Bride

Held her when she cried

She was fourteen and pregnant

Then held her baby

Teenage mom got new Nikes

The baby was three days old

Forward sixteen years

Now she’s got two more children

Three different men

Through it all, she’s been growing

Raising her children alone

Working a great job

Setting new goals, reaching them

Then she met someone

The co-worker became more

Soon they moved in together

Blended families

Each learned about acceptance

Love began to grow

One day, on a sandy beach

She agreed to marry him
