Be gentle with yourself

You do the best you can

You’ll find your greatest fan

Is your own life

You were born with the strength

There may be times you’ll cry

Shake your head, wonder why

Feeling you’re weak

Oh, quite the contrary

Your tears are not a flaw

They show you’ve courage raw

To just show up
