Well, I missed out on the Carrot Ranch challenge to write about a big black horse last week. Why? Because I couldn’t think of anything to write. Of course, today, it came to me and so I wrote this little story.
Madison had her own shopping cart, her own purse, and her own list. A carrot and an apple for a special big black horse. She and her father went through the self-check and her change was a quarter!
Clutching the grocery bag, Madison twirled her way to where the big black horse stood patiently. Madison giggled and danced in place while she held the bag of goodies under his nose.
Her father offered to hold her bag and lifted her up, into the saddle. Madison put the quarter in the box and squealed with delight.
“Giddy up, go, horsey!”

Thank you, Robbie! I love seeing the kids riding the horses in the stores. They seem to be having such a great time.
