Celebrate the weather

It’s cold enough to snow

Layers beginning to grow

Ground colored white

So bored inside the house

The kids stare longingly

At where they want to be

Dancing with flakes

Grabbing their boots and gloves

They head for the backyard

Hoping it will snow hard
