Squirrels wait each day
When she comes out of her house
They know what’s coming
They need the nuts she gives them
She enjoys being needed

I love it, Annette! My mom and dad love to feed the squirrels and the birds. They get such peace watching them in their garden. 🙂

A mutual arrangement for both of them is perfect. I have a similar arrangement with the birds. We need more sweet poetry!
