A Day Portrait

Colleen Chesebro asked Yvette Calleiro to suggest the #specificform for this week’s #tankatuesday #poetrychallenge. Yvette chose Gwen M. Plano’s 4-11 poetic form. Eleven stanzas of 4 syllables each. The first and eleventh stanzas must be the same. Here is mine:

Bird on a wire

Roses in bloom

Fallen acorns

Leaves giving shade

Sky of soft blue

Drifts of white clouds

Cat stalking mouse

Children on bikes

Dogs dig up bones

Tall grass of green

Bird on a wire
