Cat

Stirs at dawn

Sees empty food dish

Sleeping human must waken

Now

Dog

Rolls over

The bed is comfy

A great place to dream of food

Snores

    Cleverly said, Annette! My daughter had a cat who was quite a character. I wrote a fictitious story about him, Colby the Courageous Cat. He was fierce. I couldn’t tell the whole truth about his nature – too frightening for kids. haha! hugs x
