Known
As the
Halloween
Neighborhood elf
She labors all year
In her magic workshop
Transforming garage sale finds
Into a cast of characters
Who will inhabit her home’s front yard
Where they can welcome the trick or treaters

The neighborhood children are taking to pulling their bikes into the driveway to watch the transformation. 🙂

This is a great poem, Annette. I wonder who the Halloween neighbourhood elf could be? – smile

Thank you, Robbie! It’s funny that she can be so oblivious as to how much the neighborhood enjoys watching her decorate the yard. Almost as much as they enjoy the finished product!!

Who’s there to inherit it, I wonder. Perhaps her right hand person.
This was a fun read. Thanks.

I have told her again, and again, that she should sell some of the artwork that she no longer uses, but she insists that she will find a new way to use it in a new display one year! Very talented.
