The purpose of the observation is to encourage and cultivate harmony within families, communities, and countries. By starting the New Year off with this energy, the desired outcome is a much kinder, gentler, more tolerant world.

An hour invested

Sets the stage for the year

Unites us far and near

A common goal

Placing focus on peace

Filling hearts, souls, and minds

Support life of all kinds

With thoughts of love
