Greetings,
What a great day this is! You decided to check out my blog and are reading this, cool.
Most of my life, like since I have been old enough to hold a writing implement, I have loved writing. Other than school assignments, I chose poetry as my favorite way of expressing myself.
Fast forward to and through my adulthood, I have done a lot of writing for work in radio, television and newspapers. And I have also published several books, which you can find here: http://www.amazon.com/author/annetterochelleaben
In addition to writing, I am completely in love with Angels, cooking, making jewelry, photography, cats, listening to music and laughing! Perhaps we have something in common, if so, leave me a comment and let’s connect.
With Love & Gratitude
Annette Rochelle

First of all congrats on your many accomplishments!! It is always very impressive to me to see someone who have written so many books! William Burroughs has been my idol since I was a teen. I was wondering if he had an influence on you as a writer? I’m risking a lot here because I know people either love him or hate him… I hope that if you are Not a fan of him it won’t put me on your black list! lol! I truly am curious to dig more into your page! It looks utterly interesting! Have a wonderful Sunday Annette! Peace out from Montreal!

Aw, thank you for the thoughtful comments. I am so blessed to have the life I have and writing is such a big part. While I have not read any of Mr. Burrough’s books, I am familiar with many quotes attributed to him, he was pretty cool. Montreal? My people are from Quebec! Wakefield to be specific. My maiden name was Parent, my great-great grandfather was Chief of the Ottawa Indians! Haven’t visited Que. in a while but it speaks to my soul. Peace to you, all week through. ❤

It’s a small world!! Maybe we’re from the same tribe lol!! Montreal is in Quebec province btw! as Wakefield is too! It’s confusing cuz there is the city of Quebec AND the province of Quebec! Parent is a very common name round these parts!! I have so much admiration first the people of the first nations, especially their leaders who had to lead their people through very desperate time. I’m sure your ancestor would be very proud of you! My grand-mother on my father side was half indian half caucasian, she married a boat captain and gave her the name of his ship: the SS Iona. so my great grand mother was 100% Indian. I have heard from a tribe belonging to the Mohawk greater Nation. My father looks like Charles Bronson but I’m much more diluted myself!! If you ever want to read a book from Burroughs. I would suggest City of the Red Nights. It’s the most accessible and his most accomplished one. If ever… I loved every page of it!! Transporting me to 5 simultaneous stories happening in various era and taking place in various countries. Burroughs took his inspiration from so many sources that I can’t count them!! Astonishing piece fo work! People mostly know him for Naked Lunch but I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone as an introduction to Old Bill… The Priest they called him… Or the Godfather of the Beat Generation…Fascinating guy… Anyways I’m happy to have net you!! I look forward speaking to you again soon! Peace Out ! HUGH!

Thanks for following my blog, Annettte. You have a lot going on on this great site, and it will take me a while to find my way round, but I’m looking forward to having a browse later on. Congrats on the number of books you’ve published! I’m plodding along behind, but intend to keep on going. Laughing has got to be the best remedy for any ailment, and cats are wonderful creatures. Can’t say I’ve had much to do with angels, though. 🙂
