National Book Lovers Day

Everyone knows someone who has written a book. If you do not, allow me to introduce myself, I am Annette Rochelle Aben, an Author who has self-published 13 books to date. (working on more of course) This means I have books available for purchase!

In recognition of National Book Lovers Day, might I suggest that you purchase a book, especially one written/published by an Independent Author (such as myself), read it, and leave a praise-filled review! Of course, you are welcome to purchase additional books to use as gifts, bribes, or to be calculatingly casually left on random park benches, subway seats, or coffee house tables.

In any and all cases, you and your actions shall be most appreciated!

So, carry on, you BOOK LOVER, you! Fill the world with your enthusiasm and generosity and your head and heart with something wonderful.

(naturally, I can only attest to my books as being something wonderful, but I can surmise that books of other authors who I may or may not know of may also be wonderful)

Go You Gets a New Fan

I follow the blog of opera singer, Charlotte Hoather. Her blog is always filled with such joy. This young woman has a career in performing that is blossoming, As she carves out her place in history, she takes us along for the ride.

So, I am reading Today’s Post and guess what I see at the close? THIS!

Wow, I mean WOW!  I knew she had purchased the book for she told me, in a private message, how much she enjoyed it. I never expected this beautiful support, via her blog. I am touched.

I did not ask her permission to lift this photo, so I hope I am forgiven…

Thank you, Miss. Charlotte. If I ever find myself on your side of the pond, I would be honored to autograph it for you.

Thank you to everyone who purchases My Books and tells even one other person that they recommend them. Sure, most people who write and publish books would love to put the phrase, Best Selling Author next to their names and be able to live off of the royalties. However, it is something like this that makes your day in a way that reminds you of why write and publish in the first place.
