The Cover Wars Full Court Press

Okay, fellow bloggers, writers, authors and down right jolly folks…  We are in the final two days of the Author Shout weekly Cover Wars contest in which a cover of one of my books is entered.  The voting has been steady and most exciting as I have been #1 and #2 back and forth all week.  I thank everyone for their VOTES and support in general, as I know that you know that value of publicity for our published works as well as our brands themselves.

I am asking for your VOTE today, Friday and tomorrow Saturday (which I believe to be the final day of this particular run). It is a very easy thing to do, they do not want any information from you, there is nothing to sign up for and a BONUS is that YOU can sign up to submit one of your own COVERS for a CW in the future.  Of course, when they let you know that you are in the running, LET ME KNOW so I can SUPPORT YOU!

Here is the LINK and of course while you may only VOTE once a day, I humbly request you VOTE for A Haiku Perspective by yours truly.  http://authorshout.com/cover-wars/

Thank you and may this be the best day of YOUR life thus far!

Warm your hands #poetry #homeless

Here is an opportunity to use your beautiful creativity to lend a helping hand! Many hands make light work and many poems can generate tremendous warmth!

I dont often promote submission opportunities on my blog. But this submission is the kind where your poetry (and a mere $3 per poem) helps people during the winter months.

Here are the details:

The English Department and Library at Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton, Oregon, invite you to submit poems to our first annual poetry contest supporting the Pendleton Warming Station.
The Pendleton Warming Station is a place for those without homes to stay overnight when the temperatures drop below 32 degrees. PWS is open from November 1st to March 31st each year.
To submit, please PayPal $3 per poem (for up to 5 poems) to:
WarmingStationPoemsATyahooDOTcom and  email poems in a single Word Document attachment to WarmingStationPoemsATyahooD
