A bit
Of tweaking
Can take oh my
To oh wow, just wow
From a starting point of
If only I knew just how
But if you knew exactly how
There’d never have to be some tweaking
And the risk of missing the wow factor

To belong
So he attends
Two different churches
His heart is filled with joy
Always a smile on his face
He prays for everyone with love
Because he’s autistic, people pray
For him while he prays because he belongs

List person
Organizing
Gives her the feeling
Of having some control
She knows what and where stuff is
And it’s all going great until
She can do nothing without a list
While the pen winks at the paper, they know

Giggles and chortles
At life’s absurdities
But especially at me
It’s fun to be lighter of heart
A joy to see my smile mirrored back
From the face of another who’s laughing
