Pint Sized Picasso

The little one found a can of paint

The lid popped off with no complaint

The adventure ensued

And when it was through

The little one’s parents did faint

Salubrious Soil

The child in you wants to play

Outside for the rest of the day

So, what could it hurt

To dig about in the dirt

Keeps many a worry at bay

Heapin Helpin

Oh dear, my granny was keen

That I should learn to love greens

So, when she began makin’

Them with hot sauce and bacon

It was conversion damascene!

Keeping the Beard

A glance in the mirror did show

That mustache just had to go

She had to be strong

Since it took her so long

To get the darn thing to grow

Words Worth

When you “should” time away

You’ll lose time day by day

Until you see that there is none

And you’ll wonder what you’ve done

You’re  guided by what you say
