Sons of Father’s Day

 A legacy of love, handed down from father to son, to father and son, that is what this photo means to me. I took this in my home in early 1987 when my brother presented our father with his very first grandchild, a son!  Happy Father’s Day to my dad, my brother and all the men out there who are DADS!

These men among men

Yes, they were children once too

Forever bonded

Truths and fears suppressed

No instruction manual

Instinct takes over

Years of stops and starts

Hopes that they are forgiven

Love will grant them grace
