tjs household haiku windowsill

A gathering place

Everyone heads for the sill

To see and be seen

(c) Annette Rochelle Aben 2016

This is from the Halloween display my uber talented sister created in October of 2015.  I have to say, as this is her favorite holiday, to decorate for Halloween is her passion.  Can hardly wait to see what she does this year!

thanks dad

The phone rang just now

From hundreds of miles away

He just got the book

Loves the duck picture

You know, it just spoke to him

He said, keep writing!

New book Fanfare and a review – PhoKu – Visual Perspective Haiku by Annette Rochelle Aben

Many thanks to Sally Cronin for this wonderful coming-out party!  PhoKu is a taste of my life here in Westland, MI in visual and verse. I am as honored to have this book to share with you as I am to have to support with which to share my book.

It’s all I wanted

To be right in the sunshine

And lost in thin air
