Let’s Get This Party Started!

I love a good party

We’ve got plenty of yummy food, (today, I’m serving plates of curry veggies over brown rice, dishes of  coconut milk ice cream and drinks all around)  Get grooving to the music of the Beatles (because it’s a Beatles Wednesday)

Happy to have you here. Come on in and mingle with the other party goers!

We are partying in celebration of my approaching birthday. Here is the link to the original post, so you can check that out, while sipping on something wet and wild!

Birthday Wishes

All parties need favors for the guests, so, this week’s favor is the .99 Kindle Countdown Special on my book

Perspective, it’s all about replacing one thought with another  which is the first book I self-published.

I think of it as the love child of my imagination and my innocence!

In this book, I created a home for poetry that longed to be shared, prose that was asking for a chance to be read and photos that knew they had a future!  Laid out in more of an artistic fashion, than a straight forward read, Perspective can be read by opening to any specific page without having to start at the beginning of the book.

Allow me to serve you a sample of the prose, found inside your party favor, this week.

“The warmth of fall is everywhere.  In the enthusiastic dance of rainbow leaves. In the crisp, crimson crunch of a fresh picked apple. In the ruddy cheeks of exuberant youth. There’s no better time to wrap ourselves in our warmest sweaters, surround ourselves with friends and enjoy the splendor of a crackling fire.”

I chose this verse, as it is in step with the season…

When you  visit My Author Central Page you can see ALL my BOOKS

HEAD HERE, Perspective Kindle for the .99 Kindle Countdown Special through Wednesday, October 4th!

Oh, and thank YOU for leaving a REVIEW!

The party continues next Wednesday, so be sure to return and bring friends!

Birthday Wishes

As most of you don’t know (and why would you????) My birthday is exactly one month from today!  #GoMe

Year after year, people ask me, what it is that I would like for my birthday?  Of course I know they are referring to a gift of some sort and that is so sweet of them to want to do something nice for me to commemorate the occasion. So, this year, I have decided to take to guess work out of it by simply making my wishes known here and now…

I WANT REVIEWS FOR MY BOOKS!

That’s right.  You can rest assured, I will be delighted, they will surely be the right size AND I will not be exchanging them for something in the kitchen ware department.

For those who already have one (or more) of my books, this is an easy enough gift to provide.  Simply visit  My Author Central Page

where you can click on the book icon and leave the cheery, enthusiastic, and encouraging review!

For those who have yet to avail themselves of my expansive selection of books (insert visual here)

That same link will allow you to purchase said book (s) and then you can return to leave a REVIEW!  (see what I did there)

Of course, I am going to be making things a bit easier for everyone to enjoy this process as much as I will enjoy seeing the reviews growing. Every Wednesday, beginning September 27th and with the final book deal appearing ON MY BIRTHDAY, October 25th, I shall be offering a Kindle Countdown Deal on a different book. Each book will be available for one full week, at .99.

Be sure to check back here, every Wednesday for the special that week AND then scoot over to Amazon to fill your cart!  Of course you are welcome to purchase the paperback or Kindle versions of any and all of my 9 books, I’d be crushing hard on your forever, for that…  And naturally, a REVIEW would be the sprinkle on the cake of my celebration!

My Author Central Page

Oh, and for YOU who are cheeky enough to inquire as to “how old are you?”  You can buy and review two different books, thank you very much!

Thank you, in advance, for helping me celebrate. It’s always nice to remind my folks that all their hard work was not in vain.

Writers need readers…  Readers need writers…  We are all here to help each other in some way…  CLICK THROUGH to the ORIGINAL LINK to follow this thought through to a poignant post presented by the remarkably talented Sue Vincent, who is highlighting the work of a shining star, we know by the name of Alienora Taylor!

Most authors struggle with self promotion. Few are comfortable with touting their books and feel every kind of awkward, no matter how much they believe in their work or how much they want it to be …
