Rain falls, cold and grey
Lonely possum skitters by
Wind remains silent

Winter’s call, a howl
All moisture vaporizes
Frost hangs in cicles

Oh, trees that stay green
Bring us cheery summer thoughts
Amidst winter’s white

The sun beams
And the wind chimes in
Trees branch out
Flowers bloom
The season’s about to change
Spring into summer

Behold the first snow
So beautiful to watch fall
From behind the glass
The once green landscape
Blanketed in soft layers
Mounding around trees
Everything peaceful
Almost magical indeed
The frozen fields
