air apparent

Huffing and puffing

The wind makes itself at home

Wherever it wants

Music in the wind

Singing songs of far away

Mysterious voice

Be you curious

Use your imagination

And dance to the tunes

Somewhere, there’s a wind

Carrying someone I knew

Away to a new land

I never questioned

The wind would just come and go

Did not pay much mind

One day it was clear

Both you and the wind were gone

No trace and no trail

Tree tops are silent

Clouds hang like the curtain drawn

You and the wind, gone

say it isn’t so

Here I sit hour after hour just watching that wind blow and wondering where do all the tree dwelling critters go when the branches are whipping to and fro…  I may never know.

one would imagine

Oh to be free like the wind to dance with the trees or to deliver a flower’s fragrance, with a soft gentle breeze. To guide the snowflakes playfully along or to give the green grass a whistling song. To move each grain of sand along the shore leaving empty beds of once what was and creating piles of lots more. To carry birds on the wing and to clouds into all sorts of different shapes and things. Perhaps to be free is wind like to be!
