I toyed with this a couple weeks ago, seriously. It’s been 29 years since I ceased coloring my hair red… I found that I have natural red highlights these days, so I win! woo hoo

Color Me Ginger is by our friend Annette Rochelle Aben who says @YouAreTheExpert. A hairrifying Haiku for sure. I can say I’ve never had to resort to this tactic. Click through to support her post.
I was a natural red head and loved it, now I’m in the salt and pepper stage and at last have stopped the ‘boxed colour’ – such a relief – and I’m joyfully embracing the Granny look! Ha!
Haha Annette! I did this! I always like to go a bit red in the fall…to blend with my surroundings. 🙂 Good Haiku.

I have blond hair…but a dark blond with a bit of red and gold undertones…so in the fall I go strawberry 🙂 Change is good!

When I stopped coloring my hair, my husband (at the time I was married) was speechless, he wanted the red-head back!

I was going to call this Cover Me Ginger, but I um, decided that might not exactly come across the right way. Then again, maybe it would. 😉

Oddly enough, Ginger was what my mother wanted to name me. My French-Canadian father won out and I became Annette Rochelle….

Thank YOU! I sometimes wonder if all this is really a chick thing… But I do know men who have colored their hair too. 🙂

I know, right! So very glad to be free from the “touch-ups” and such. Life as a natural woman, living it happily. 🙂

Great haiku. I remember one redhead I knew once who I thought was the genuine thing until discovered not to be!!!!
