    It is 3:24 CST Saturday, August 26th, and we are busy “hurricaning.” We are halfway between Houston and Galveston in northern Brazoria County. We lost power for about 30 minutes, but other than that and the sound of the wind (like big trucks going down the road) which is unsettling to say the least, we are ok. Tornados have touched down and we have had “Take shelter” alerts, but so far no damage to us. Friends who live in trailer houses have evacuated to Dallas. They say the routes out of town are at gridlock. Your Angel message I just opened is very appropriate; we are praying for strength and protection. Keeping mind our heroic first responders. They have their work cut out for them.

    You would not believe how abundantly answered! The storm, which was predicted to go north, then loop back and take a direct hit on Houston (30 miles away) has veered off to the northwest and will NOT return. Our friends and relatives from VA, NC, NV, CA were all praying for it to NOT hit Houston. Some flooding and maybe a day or two off from school because of it is what is being predicted now.
