In response to Sue Vincent’s challenge this week to write something prompted by the word GLOW and this picture:
Be sure to check her out and join in the fun, if you are so moved! Sue Vincent #writephoto
“Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky in morning, sailor’s warning.” He glanced up at the sky from the hard seat of his wooden rowboat. So, what if it’s various shades of pink, he wondered. I mean, it’s not really red.
He baited his hook and cast it lazily into the water. Not much else to do today but fish. Besides, he needed to catch something to eat later. And he had used the last of his bread to try to lure the fish his way. Now he wondered if the bread would work.
What’s this? A nibble!
