Paint the Picture

The Expected One
1860
painting by Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller (Museum: Bavarian State Painting Collections) wikidata.org

Wondering, wandering

Never really sure

Exactly what will be around the corner

Curiosity piqued

It just might be love

Perhaps life is a dream

Eyes closed, mind open

The bigger picture attempting to unfold

There’s so much to hope for

So, hoping for love

When wondering and hope

Meet along life’s path

The electricity will light up the world

All because two hearts hoped

Daring to wonder
