Opposites Distract

Those who are organized

Are just driven crazy

By those they find lazy

And do not care

Perhaps they are jealous

Looks can be deceiving

Everyone believing

They know better

Somethings Old Somethings New

Over the years, she’s changed

Hair has silver sprinkles

Skin has folds and wrinkles

She’s shrunk an inch

But underneath it all

Her eyes are still quite blue

Her heart is ever true

She loves to laugh

Futuher

Casually, she glanced

Once, over her shoulder

Wishing she were bolder

Holding her breath

Moving forward a must

Leaving the old behind

With news dreams in her mind

Take baby steps

wizard we

we are not cursed with pain

we are blessed with the chance

to learn to dance the dance

of the healer

to turn off suffering

wiith knowledge, we once knew

methods ancient, tried, true

plying the craft

kettle’s on

So, we waited all-day

Under gloomy, grey skies

It came as no surprise

Gentle Spring rain

Flowers enjoyed a drink

Birds found their baths filling

Heavy clouds kept spilling

Puddles forming
