The
Ebbing
Of her youth
Was evident
Only to the ones
Who never knew her when
She shown like the bright dayspring
Filled with magic and hope’s promise
Emanating through and from her soul
Now and forever shining through her eyes
Vibrant reminder of who she was
A beacon of who she truly is
Her youth is never really lost
It is present in her life
In precious, subtle ways
Heard in her laughter
Felt in her hugs
When she serves
Cookies
Tea

This reminds me of my grandmother (I can always see her serving tea and cookies), nicely written.

Excellent double Etheree, Annette. The best part is that our inner beauty shines out for all to see. I love this!! ❤

As we age into our twilight years, we hope that the beauty that dissipates evolves into something more lasting and important as you wrote about in y our lovely double Etheree, Annette.
